Service animals are permitted throughout the venue. However this does not include emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals. Any animal whose task is to provide protection, emotion support, well-being, comfort, or companionship is not considered a service animal and will not be allowed into the venue. Only vaccinated service animals that have been individually trained will be provided service animal credentials and permitted within the premises. Please do not leave your service animal unattended.
The following guidelines must be followed:
The service animal must be registered at the Sol Fest Tent upon entry.
A service animal must be under the control of its handler. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the individual’s disability prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
The person bringing an animal accepts full responsibility for the animal and is liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.
The animal must be housebroken and the handler must clean up after the service animal.
In Florida, falsely claiming a pet as a service animal is a second-degree misdemeanor under § 413.08(9), Fla. Stat. (2023), and a conviction can result in a jail sentence of up to 60 days plus a $500 fine.
